Privacy policy

The site does not offer a customer account. It is used to view the accommodation, its location and related information content, to send an availability request if you wish, and to book online with online payment when this service is open.

When you book online, the payment is entrusted to Stripe Payments Europe Ltd (Ireland), an approved payment provider. Stripe collects on its own page your name, e-mail address and data of your payment method. The site does not see or store any credit card data.

Stripe stores the payment method so that the security deposit described in the booking terms can be authorized if necessary. Storage is limited to the stay and the time needed to release the deposit.

Purposes : execute the reservation, collect the stay and the tourist tax, manage the security deposit, send you confirmation and arrival instructions, keep the operator's accounts. Legal basis : performance of the reservation contract (Article 6.1.b GDPR) and, for accounting retention, the legal obligation of the operator (Article 6.1.c).

Data retained : accommodation, dates, number of guests and adults, amount paid, tourist tax, payment reference, and name and email address supplied by Stripe. These data are retained during the stay and administration of the security deposit, then in accounting records for the statutory period (ten years for accounting records). They are neither sold nor used for marketing.

Tourist tax is collected on behalf of the municipality of Saint-Jean-de-Védas and Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole, then remitted with the statutory declaration stating the number of nights, the number of guests liable for the tax and the amount collected. No identifying information is sent to the authorities beyond what the law requires.

Receipts, confirmations of reservation, notifications of security deposit and replies to requests for availability are sent via Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), e-mail service provider located in the European Union. Brevo processes your e-mail address and message content solely on behalf of the operator, without own use. No information letter is sent.

The availability request form collects your first name, last name, e-mail address, telephone number if you choose to provide it, the desired accommodation, your arrival and departure dates, the number of travellers and your possible message.

This information is only used to verify the availability requested and to respond. They are neither resold nor used for prospecting nor added to a mailing list. They are sent by e-mail to the owner of the accommodation and pass through a service provider located in the European Union.

The form checkbox records your consent to processing this enquiry. It is separate from the cookie banner, which covers audience measurement only. You can ask us to delete your enquiry by replying to the acknowledgement email.

When you click to Airbnb, Booking or other external service, the processing of personal data related to the reservation is the responsibility of the chosen platform.

Like any website, hosting and technical tools can retain data strictly necessary for display, security and service maintenance. No active marketing collection is set up : the site does not practice newsletters, targeted advertising, or data resale.

You have the right of access, rectification, deletion, limitation and opposition to your data, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL. To practice, write to contact@logements-saintjean.fr or reply to an email received from the site. For a final reservation via a platform, the right contact person remains the platform used.
